Operasi Keli

Hmm ... penyakit tak update blog dah kembali lagi. (bak kata orang kampung I). Tapi hari ni terasa nak kongsi cerita basi.

Wah!!! Cabaranku bersahut. Dengan senyum sumbing, aku pun bertanya, "Sapa nak siang ikan ni?". Aku ni memang geli sikit nak siang ikan keli ni kerana badannya yang mempunyai banyak lendir tu.

Lagi pun, aku ni bukan suka sangat pun makan ikan keli.

Aku tukang gorengkannya saja. They decided to eat it as it is - goreng kunyit je. Tak nak buat masak cili pun supaya boleh ratah (especially anak bujang I yang tak berapa suka pedas melampau tu).

My husband memang ada bakat terpendam dalam hal-hal siang-menyiang ikan ni. Kalau sepanjang aku mengandung dulu, dialah yang selalu siangkan ikan lepas balik dari pasar. Thank you Abang!!!! Huhuhu ....

Kesiannnnn dia ... dah macam kena penyakit kemurungan je.

Tapi sekejap je murung tu. Tak lama lepas tu, keli yang seekor ni dah mula makan dengan lahapnya seperti sedia kala.

Inilah berita untuk hari ini. Sekian.

Merentas Desa @ Cross Country

Salam all,

Have you ever take part in this activity? As Malaysian who went to Msian school, I'm sure you cannot miss this. It is normally held in the beginning of the year. January or February. It is suppose to test the students' endurance to long distance race area. It will also meassures and evaluate the mental and physical capability of the students. Only the determinant will try to complete the race. But most students will opt to walking all the way the race while chit chatting among them. Hmmmm .....sounds do relevant ..... to me ....

Ni nak story zaman2 sekolah dulu. Sebelum acara sebenar dilakukan, kena la buat latihan. Practice makes perfect. So, every morning, instead of doing our routine physical activity we were required to practice the cross country. And we were in Kajang at that time, Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Agama Maahad Hamidiah Kajang, to be precised. The school is located near a kampung, Kg Siantan. So, this is REALLY a cross country. Not like my kids, they were all CROSS CITY. Lari dalam taman, memang la tak best. When talking about running across the village, there are many things that we can enjoy.

One day, my friends and me, three of us, were not feeling very well. We had stomach ache, tapi tak la serius sangat. Since we love this activity, we intend to go on with the cross country training, but instead of running, we walked our way to the finishing line. It resulted in us completing the training the last and at almost 9.30 am. Ingat lagi tu!!! Beatiful memories are difficult to erase!! We really enjoy our walk. Passing by the village, greeting the makcik and pakcik along the way, enjoying the peaceful scenery --- mmmm ... only if we could flash back to the good old days.

Punya lah peramah, we greeted the pakcik and makcik who were doing their morning chores - and to forget to also complement them for their beautiful garden and fruit trees. Orang kampunglah katakan, banyaklah tanaman yang ada. Kata orang, "Orang berbudi, kita berbahasa, orang memberi kita merasa". That is what happen to us.

"CAntik taman pakcik.... banyaknya buah rambutan kat pokok pakcik", were among the greetings. And as a result ....

'Ah..ah... memang banyak rambutannya, ambik la sikit, ambik bawak balik buat makan dengan kawan-kawan", balas si Pakcik. After some persuasion, ye la malu-malu kucing, we took the rambutans and head back to the hostel. REZEKI!!!!

Itulah kisahnya. Tapi rambutan yang gambar tu bukan yang diberi Pakcik. This happened some 29 years ago (tuanya aku!!!).

Why suddenly talk about this? Well, my daughter, Sabrina has just had her Cross Country tournament two days ago and came back telling, "Ibu, K.Ngah dapat nombor 10". Wow! Despite her being an asthmatic, being no.10 is an achievement especially because she competes with those in standard 5 and 6. Congratulation my dear! I know you are a determinant.

Augmented Reality is NOT Virtual Reality

Salam All,

How is it, with the title? Mengancam sikit kan. Now is 1318, Msian time. It means, lunch time. I had a late breakfast which I don't think I can eat anything now.

Tired with reading an article on Augmented Reality - I think I need a break. So, that is the reason why the title sound soooooo .... academic.

What is AR (AR is the acronym used to represent Augmented Reality)? Literally, augment means .. (taken from Merriam Webster Online Dictionary):

AUGMENT
  1. to make greater, more numerous, or more intense augmented by its timing
  2. to add an augment

Sunnah Nabi - Doa Bangun Tidur

Salam All,

Jom amal sunnah!!!

Listened to TV this morning about sunnah. The ustaz was urging all muslims to practice sunnah in our daily life. Every bit of sunnah that we perform is promised reward and syafaah from Rasulallah. How many of you say this doa everyday???? Not me. That is my answer. Most of the days, I will just jump out of the bed and start doing things that need to be done. This is the doa taught by Rasulallah SAW to be recited when you get up from sleep.

Ertinya:

It is very simple and easy to recite. I am sure even our kids can recite them well, together with the translation. Al-maklum la pergi sekolah, cikgu ajar .... and make sure that your child is sent to school that instill this simple muslims practice in their daily activities ... sebab .... kalau nak harapkan kita mak bapaknya nak mengajarkan doa2 macam ni .... memang payahlah sikit ... asyik sibuk memanjang .... mengaku aje lah. Aku mengaku. I really thank to all my children's kindergarten teachers for educating my children.

OK, as I would like to call for every muslim readers to begin with this simple activity - recite the doa after a sleep - I would call for my ownself to do it everyday!!!!! And after a week, let's us evaluate ourself whether we have perform this simple sunnah.

JOM AMAL SUNNAH!!!!!

wassalam.

KISAS

KISAS. It's Kolej Islam Sultan Alam Shah now. Formerly known as Kolej Islam Kelang (KIK). Earlier was Kolej Islam Malaya (KIM). From this wonderful school, many has graduated to become the gem in the society. But there are also others who has fallen to the glitters of money and wealth.

I just came back from KISAS. My alma mater. Going there is a pleasure for me. A pleasure that no word can tell. I went there to submit the appeal form for my nephew, Muadz. He wanted to be a KISASian so much, but the decision is not on his side. As he has already got an offer from another SBP, therefore he is disqualified for an appeal to another SBP, that is according to the PKHEM, Ust Muhammad Ismail. According to the Ustaz, the applications were tremendous but they only accept about 300 hundred students. There are 12 classes with 3 being the religious stream (Aliran Agama) and 9 for the Science Stream (Aliran Sains). This is really different from when I was there. There were only 3 science classes and we are out numbered by the 7 art classes. Time changed.

Why KISAS? Why everybody wants to be there? Prestigious? Perhaps. I think it would be a dream of every pupils of the religious stream to enter KISAS after their PMR. I was one of them after my SRP. But, in my case, a stubborn as I am, I am willing to go to another school if I was not offered the Science stream. And Alhamdulillah, I was offered the Science stream and there I was for two years. Alhamdulillah .... 2 wonderful years.

Alhamdulillah, I was chosen. Allah has picked me to be in KIK (as it was called then). Why so special? I learn a lot there. The 'tarbiah' that I got there has actually groomed me into a better person. It taught me what are right and wrong in a wonderful ways. Usrah, qiamullail, tadarrus, solat jamaah, zikir - all these has sculptured me into a better muslimah. I am thankful to Allah swt. Thanks also to all the naqibah. I can still remember K.Aya, K.Jannah and k.Labdu. Those are the most respected seniors. When I first walked into it, all the activities are new, felt burdened at first, but soon after, we cherish the moments and welcome the activities. We felt the beauty of ibadah in a way that no words can tell.

I wish, I hope that one day, one of my children will be able to be there, in KISAS. To be part of the legacy. This is also the reason why I do not mind to go through all the process to try to get Muadz into the system. But, believe me Muadz, what Allah has prepared for you now is something better than what you thought. So, accept this as a test from Allah. Allah LOVES us always, only if we remember HIM and redha with HIS decision.

Faraid - Barang kemas

Salam,

Faraid. That was the topic discussed on the morning TV show, Tanyalah Ustaz at TV9. Faraid was quite a heavy stuff. I remember when learning about this during my school days looooonnnnngggggg time ago (u can imagine how long time ago ;P). Susah mau ingat especially for someone who have difficulty in remembering numbers, like me. Tapi Alhamdulillah, lulus periksa. Or else, I will not be where I am now. Alhamdulillah, Allah you are the Greatest for giving us the best and yet we regularly forget you. Please protect us, Ya Allah, from the sin due to our ignorance in obeying you.

BAck to the topic, the little thing that I still remember is:

Then the ustaz add,
........ so, what do you say readers? To whom does the jeweleries belongs to?

So, female readers, tonite, let's ask our husband .....

Apa agaknya jawapan suami kita ye????
