Sunset.... Subhanallah

Assalamualaikum... I love beaches. I just love beaches. The sound of the wave. The sea breeze. The sand. Walking along the edges really put me in a wonderful feeling. Serenity. Subhanallah.... Allah created everything for a good cause for us to think and for us to remember the Creator. Allahuakbar..... pssttt.... This is one of my collection.... Allahu a'lam.

Air o Air....

Assalamualaykum. It has been a month. We are on water rationing. Rain that pours these last few days is not sufficient to fill up the dam. It will only happen with Allah's will. Without rationing, the water will not last even till this coming Ramadhan ~ this is what the authority claimed. I chose to believe the claim. With household only 3 to 4 person now, the rationing does not affect me very much. I pitied those with a bigger household, those with kids, those stayed in high rise building... the water rationing affected them tremendously. Be patient my akhawat and ikhwan... be patient... accept this as a minor test from Allah. Allah loves us. Redha... and you will be rewarded. Insha Allah. And... this bill is a proof of the little reward ..... may reward awaits us in jannah. Ameen. Wassalam.

Ber ta'awwudz

Assalamualaikum... There are things that we do because others do, because others tell us to do. Seldom that we seek to find the origin of the instruction. Be it from the Quran or the Hadith. Those are the only two reliable sources and guidance that we have as muslim. We normally began our Quran recitation with the Ta'awwudz (  اعوذبالله من الشیطن الرجیم  ). But... how many of us really know why we must oblige to the instruction? Surah An-Nahl (98-100) provide the answer. http://instagram.com/p/nC0cZyyKYU/ In these verses, Allah instructed us to begin our Quran recitation by asking from Allah to protect us from the devil, syaitan. According to Ibn Katsir in his tafseer (page 254, vol 5), we seek protection from Allah so that whoever reads the Quran will not get confused with the ayah and will be able to focus and tries to understand the meaning. This instruction is simply because the syaitan will not be able to rule those who are faithful to Allah and tawakkal only to Alla

Mengingati Allah

Assalamualaikum... It has been sometime since my last morning tazkeerah. I had the opportunity to be with Ust Roslan Mohamad in Madrasah Hijrah. Ustaz shared a short but truly reminder for us. From Surah Taha, Verse 14:   إِنَّنِىٓ أَنَا ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّآ أَنَا۟ فَٱعۡبُدۡنِى وَأَقِمِ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ لِذِڪۡرِىٓ  Surely I am Allah, there is no god but I, therefore serve Me and keep up prayer for My remembrance English - Shakir via iQuran Allah is the only god. No other. Therefore remember Him through solat. A five times solat in a day is nothing if compared to all the 'gifts' Allah has grant us with and the rewards He promised in the hereafter. And a short reminder sent through WhatsApp from a friend reminds me that the night solat (tahajjud) is the clothes for the mukminin. Jom solat! Wallahua'lam.

Stokin

Assalam. Sounds weird isn't it. What is it so special that I posted about socks...?  What is the real purpose of wearing socks? Aa a school children, wearing a clean pair of socks is a must. You can easily stand in a corner as a punishment for not wearing the sock (oooppsss... this punishment no longer exist nowadays). As a worker, the men would put on the sock to look smart and abiding the guide for a proper office attire. In cold whether, the sock will warm your feet which is crucial for healthy reasons as the feet house the many nerves point of our body (according to the reflexology) For babies, the sock too will warm their tiny feet, and not let gas build up in the tiny body. For travellers, wearing the socks could protect their feet from any harmful object in the pathway .... this is also according to Islamic teaching - to put on khuf when in journey) To a woman ... what does the sock do?? In muslim women, the pair of socks will cover the parts that Allah ask

The Visit

Assalamualaikum. I paid the doctor a visit this morning - afternoon. It was a long overdue visit. It should have been done October 2013, but I delayed it until when I feel the needs arises. Despite the its size is smaller under my numb finger, however, off late, the pain is more often. While driving to the clinic, I thought a lot. And I put a positive thinking in me. With it or without it, sick or healthy, when the time comes, not a second is delayed or expedited. Thats the promise which Allah the Mighty has made to all mankind. Therefore... why worried. Live life to the fullest. Do things you enjoy the most. Get the best of life for the best of hereafter. Sow your weed to reap in jannah. Alhamdulillah... I managed to put myself at calm. My only dua', if ever I got sick, I do not want to burden anybody. Please let me be strong till the last breath lives my body..... O Allah! Please grant me this wish. Ameen. It was a lonnnnnngg waiting time. I am prepared for that. I equipped
