Koir Amal Bahasa Isyarat MMCS, FSKM, UiTM

Dear blog,

Alhamdulillah, I am so glad that the event is over. It is the most 'awaited for' event. Why not? We are the organizer, the students, lecturers and Faculty of Computer and Mathematical Sciences, UiTM Shah Alam. It is a collaboration with the Sekolah Kebangsaan Pendidikan Khas (SKPK), Selangor. The main organizer is the Multimedia Computing Society (MMCS) but eventually many other students have joint in - we have students from the Computer Science, Networking and also Accountacy. It's a team work.

We have been practicing for more than a month (only on fridays - the students were too busy, their schedule were jam-packed). During the first reheasal (which I wasn't there), it was 'horor'. The students were panicked. During our second rehearsal, that is a night before the real event, they were no longer stage fright, but their performance were 'static' except for the Orange group. The SKPK's students were far more better than ours!!!! O oooo ... alhamdulillah, if we do something with a good cause, InsyaAllah, Allah will help us. Puan Salmah's husband is a lecturer in the Fakulti of Seni Persembahan. He gave the students some advice on how to perform better.

On the event night, it was already 8.30pm. The event is suppose to begin at 8pm. The crowds were not there, we are panick. However, we decided not to wait longer and began the event at 8.30pm. Alhamdulillah, the crowds are pouring after that. The Dewan Seri Budiman of UiTM Shah Alam was finally full with audience and they stay put until the end of the event.

The following are some of the updates on the event by bloggers:

Alhamdulillah, it was a success. The students showed an excellent commitment. Bravo to the committees and also the participant. Everybody has worked hard to make this happen. Most importantly, we are able to open the heart of many that there are people in this world that could not hear nor talk but they have a heart just like us that needs to be loved and accepted in the society.

~this is an overdueeeeeee entry. I created it after the event but did not realized that it was only kept as draft and did not published it.

Dear Blog,

Dear blog,

It's been weeks since my last visit. I was so busy lately that it does not permit me to even have a peek at you. How I dearly missed you. I composed beautiful stories for you everyday in my mind. As days grow in numbers, the stories were gone and flash came a new one. Oh Blog! How I missed you dearly.

What am I doing now? Oh, blog, I wish I could shout it loud how busy I am now. Even if i work 24/7 non-stop, i doubt my office task will ever complete. I wish everything is completed. When will it be? When I hand-in my resignation (which I don't think I will be doing) or till I retire?

Dearest blog,
Today, despite my heavy schedule, I just could not resist myself to come to you. To finally share with you. Bit and pieces of my hectic schedule, too many deadlines to fulfill. I wish, I wish, I wish ... I could do it in a Zapppp. I have grant applciation to complete, I have my OBE document to complete, I have my curiculum review on my sleeves, and as though all these are not up to the nose, I also have a new curiculum to design. That are excluding my teaching and marking and consultation. There are days where I finished my day only by entertaining the too many adhoc request. O Blog, I miss my peaceful working hours, where I can sit and read articles, books and writes effectively.

Before I pen-off ... keyboard-off is a better phrase, I guess. I just want to inform you that besides all those I mentioned above, i also had to be involve in the MediaQuest and the Koir Amal that are scheduled 12th and 25th March consecutively.

Blog dearie,
Yes, i am relieved that now I have spoken to you with my un-audible words.

Hope to visit you again in the near future.
