Koir Amal Bahasa Isyarat MMCS, FSKM, UiTM

Dear blog,

Alhamdulillah, I am so glad that the event is over. It is the most 'awaited for' event. Why not? We are the organizer, the students, lecturers and Faculty of Computer and Mathematical Sciences, UiTM Shah Alam. It is a collaboration with the Sekolah Kebangsaan Pendidikan Khas (SKPK), Selangor. The main organizer is the Multimedia Computing Society (MMCS) but eventually many other students have joint in - we have students from the Computer Science, Networking and also Accountacy. It's a team work.

We have been practicing for more than a month (only on fridays - the students were too busy, their schedule were jam-packed). During the first reheasal (which I wasn't there), it was 'horor'. The students were panicked. During our second rehearsal, that is a night before the real event, they were no longer stage fright, but their performance were 'static' except for the Orange group. The SKPK's students were far more better than ours!!!! O oooo ... alhamdulillah, if we do something with a good cause, InsyaAllah, Allah will help us. Puan Salmah's husband is a lecturer in the Fakulti of Seni Persembahan. He gave the students some advice on how to perform better.

On the event night, it was already 8.30pm. The event is suppose to begin at 8pm. The crowds were not there, we are panick. However, we decided not to wait longer and began the event at 8.30pm. Alhamdulillah, the crowds are pouring after that. The Dewan Seri Budiman of UiTM Shah Alam was finally full with audience and they stay put until the end of the event.

The following are some of the updates on the event by bloggers:

Alhamdulillah, it was a success. The students showed an excellent commitment. Bravo to the committees and also the participant. Everybody has worked hard to make this happen. Most importantly, we are able to open the heart of many that there are people in this world that could not hear nor talk but they have a heart just like us that needs to be loved and accepted in the society.

~this is an overdueeeeeee entry. I created it after the event but did not realized that it was only kept as draft and did not published it.
