Assalamualaikum....
23rd-26th July 2015. iC3e@Melaka. A last minute arrangement. Everything was a last minute. From submittting the paper for review, uploading the camera ready, to the decision to go --- everything was a last minute decision. Alhamdulillah. It was completed.
If last year it was conducted in Melbourne, its good thing that it is conducted here this year especially with the plunging of our currency. Even a last minute decision can still land me to this place.
Interestingly, my hubby accompanied as a substitute to our earloer cancelled holiday. And what added to my excitement was he drove me down to Muar, a town I have never been before in the southern peninsular. On the way back was a stop at Umbai to fill up our almost 'empty tank' with seafood delicacies. The seafood there were freshed. The price was reasonable too. I like the nasi lemak served with the seafoods (of course you can ask for plain white rice too).
Thanks to Mr.Waze, it directed us to the town area, passing by the old red building. Met with the brightly lit trishaw. It was a wonderful drive. And we ended our day with a healthy helping of freshly brewed coffee from a coffee shop facing the Hatten Hotel. We almost gave up on the coffee due to lack of parking space. But determination and with a strong will we made 2 rounds around the block to find a parking. Alhamdulillah, Allah had granted our wish. A hot hazelnut cappucino and iced cappucino for Mr Hubby really made our day.
Alhamdulillah. Allahu Akbar. My gratitudes are only for Allah SWT.
Wassalam.
p/s: no story about the conference? Nay... conference is just like any other conference. But there's wide range of new knowledge that I'd gathered along. Knowledge is wisdom. I will talk about the conference later.
